Upward Sports is a longstanding, successful outreach ministry that brings families together, teaches children the fundamentals of teamwork and sportsmanship while building character and learning about the saving Grace of Jesus Christ. 

The end of the season celebration is the final time for fellowship, acknowledgement of a season of hard work and accomplishments. The humor, illusions and Christ-centered messages from Larry Wirtz has added much excitement and meaning to many Upward Sports Award Celebrations across the United States for the last couple of decades.    

In keeping Christ at the center of everything, the entertainment is designed and presented from a Christian worldview.  As an outreach ministry, you can rest assured that the entertainment and Gospel message will align and reflect with the values and principles shared with those you have incorporated during your Upward Sports season!

Sharing the Good News is an important aspect of the Upward Sports ministry. Traditionally, during practices and games, the message of hope and salvation that God provides for us through His Son Christ Jesus is shared with the players, cheerleaders, and families all season long.

The message of salvation continues during the Awards Celebration as well!  Larry will present a relatable message that will reflect and align with the seeds of faith you have planted all season long. This is a final way to reach the families you have served during your outreach sports ministry which encourages everyone in their spiritual walk with Christ.
